To ensure the essence of its identity as a knowledge management organization, all programs and projects of the Maria Cecilia Souto Vidigal Foundation must fall into the logic of the following strategy:
1) Identification & Acquisition of Knowledge
Before drafting any activity proposal, FMCSV has an obligation to seek knowledge about what has already been produced and is available. As such, it searches publications, case studies, databases, research papers, projects and participates in related networks.
2) Application & Knowledge Generation
The knowledge gained in the first stage is applied in the creation of programs and projects which, in turn, will generate new technical or process knowledge.
3) Systematization & Dissemination of Knowledge
The new knowledge generated by its activities is systematized and disseminated. In addition to basing these processes on its own knowledge, FMCSV also bases them on the knowledge of others. This step involves products such as workshops, websites, courses and various publications, in print as well as in audiovisual format.
The program-oriented activity strategy of FMCSV is graphically represented in the diagram below.
