Asset management is one of the cornerstones of FMCSV’s governance. Its guidelines seek to ensure that the entity has the funds needed to sustainably fulfill its mission in the long term.

Its asset management takes into account the unique characteristics of FMCSV: it is one of the few foundations in Brazil that is not linked to economic groups. It is a family institution and it has one of the ten largest asset funds in the country and is recognized for its independent and professional financial management.

The asset management of the Foundation, in line with the most acclaimed practices for corporate investment management, is organized into three concepts:

 
• Endowment fund: holds the assets whose return ensures that FMCSV and its mission are sustainable in the long term;
• Operational fund: brings together the resources needed to fund FMCSV's administrative activities and programs;
• Investment policy: defines strategies for the financial management of both funds.
