Page Content Currently, the Maria Cecilia Souto Vidigal Foundation is dedicated primarily to two major programs, the Early Childhood Development and Hematology.
In the area of Early Childhood Development, FMCSV maintains a program that includes the social, municipal and metropolitan areas, and projects for the generation and dissemination of knowledge, among which the funding of research, translations and publications of books, pamphlets, booklets and an encyclopedia.
Also has FMCSV prominent role in the National Early Childhood Network, where it heads along with the other to represent them work for the adoption of municipal plans for Early Childhood.
Hematology is the original area of the institution, which is currently performed in partnership with the Medical College of São Paulo University (USP), through Das Clinicas Hospital.
FMCSV maintains the physical infrastructure and equipment of three laboratories, two walk-in clinics and a hematology and hemotherapy library, all housed within the Das Clínicas Hospital. The management and operation of these establishments is the responsibility of the Das Clínicas Hospital.
