COMMUNICATION COMMITTEE
 
The Communication Committee is an entity that advises the CEO about the definition of a Strategic Communication Plan, the monitoring of its implementation and any special initiatives related to the Communications area.
 
Currently, the Communication Committee is comprised of four external members and a representative of the Board of Trustees and the Vidigal family. The invited members were chosen because of their experience and knowledge in different Communication activities: an advertising agent, a journalist, an academic and a professional in Corporate Communications.
 
It consists of the following members.
  
Gilson Schwartz
Earned a degree in Economics and Social Sciences from USP, M.S. and Ph.D. in Economics from Unicamp and post-doctorate degree in International Relations Research Center (Nupri) of USP. He created the project "Cidade do Conhecimento” (City of Knowledge) unprecedented in terms of concepts and practices for the collaborative production of knowledge, the formation of digital networks for projects and innovations in design of audiovisual media.  He is a researcher associated to the Technology Management and Policy Center (PGT) of USP.
Between 1983 and 2006 he was a columnist for the Folha de S. Paulo newspaper and in 2007 for the magazines Época and Época Negócios.  In 2008, he published the blog "Iconomia" in Terra.
He has headed since 2009 in Brazil PRO-IDEAL (www.pro-ideal.eu), a consortium for the promotion and cooperation of information technology and communication between the European Union and Latin America.
 
Marta Fujii 
Graduada em Comunicação Social pela Fundação Armando Álvares Penteado  (FAAP) e Marketing pela Escola Superior de Propaganda e Marketing(ESPM), tem mais de 20 anos de experiência em comunicação e marketing, focada em planejamento estratégico.
Atuou em empresas do segmento industrial, financeiro e de serviços como agência e cliente. Entre elas: Banco BCN, Banco do Brasil, Banco Econômico, Banco Safra, Banco Sudameris, Banco ABN, Banco de Brasília, HSBC, Brasilprev, Brasilsaude, Mapfre, Mastercard, Incentive House, O Boticário, 3M do Brasil, Editora Abril, Coca-Cola, Sandvik, Sony Pictures Home Entertainment, The Walt Disney Company Brasil, entre outras.
Atua na Total On Demand desde 2007, atualmente como Diretora de Integração, realizando a gestão de toda a operação da agência, que hoje atende grandes contas líderes do mercado brasileiro (VW, BASF, RIM, Sony, Sadia, Telefônica, Shell, Editora Moderna, Man Caminhões, L’Oréal, entre outras)
Atua em organizações mundiais sem fins lucrativos como Voluntária e Conselheira (desde 2000).
 
Percival Caropreso
An advertising agent with 40 years experience in communications and marketing. He was Executive Vice President of McCann-Erickson in Brazil, Latin America and Worldwide.  In 2005, he founded the communication advisory for Sector 2 ½, a bridge between the second and third sectors for the merging of both. He develops communication strategies for the Sustainability and Social Responsibility of companies, NGOs, institutes, foundations, social and environmental causes and movements. He participates in several boards, among which, that of Escola Superior de Propaganda e Marketing college (ESPM), where he is part of the Social Responsibility Committee; the Self-Regulating Publicity Council (CONAR); the Health & Sustainability Institute; the ATLETAS PELA CIDADANIA (ATHLETES FOR CITIZENSHIP) organization; and UnoMarketing – Conscientious Marketing. He is a member of the Best Practices Committee for Sustainability Communication of the Brazilian Association of Advertisers (ABA) and member of the Social Environmental Responsibility Commission of the Advertising Industry  - Brazilian Advertising Congress.
 
Regina Vidigal Guarita
Earned a degree from Escola Panamericana in Communication Art, Publicity Art, Illustration and Design. Was the Art and Creation Director of the "Melhor Comunicação e Marketing de incentivo" agency. In 1996, she founded the Arte Despertar (Art Awakening) Association, a nonprofit organization dedicated to the promotion and development of individuals through art and culture, of which she is the CEO.
 
Ricardo Lessa
Worked at Jornal do Brasil, Isto É magazine, Estado de S Paulo, Correio Braziliense, Gazeta Mercantil newspapers and at Voz da América in Washington. Currently works at Globonews, as host of the 10 o’clock news in São Paulo.
Won the awards: Embratel (2000), Icatu for Economic Journalism (1999), Firjan (2001), best economic news article on Rio de Janeiro and ONIP (2002), best news article about oil.
Has five published books.
