In 2019, Fundação Maria Cecilia Souto Vidigal (FMCSV) tackled new challenges, establishing an ambitious strategic plan aimed at catalyzing significant societal transformations by 2030. The central focus was on securing the right to comprehensive, integral development in early childhood, with public policies playing a pivotal role in this endeavor. To realize these goals, the FMCSV team was bolstered, and a new Institutional Relations area was created to influence decision-makers and collaborate in the formulation and execution of services and programs. These initiatives focus on meeting the needs of children and their families, particularly those in vulnerable situations.
Furthermore, the Foundation broadened its partnerships and diversified its projects across various domains, including early childhood education, parenting, evaluation, and communication. It also spearheaded initiatives designed to foster integration among different sectors. These concerted efforts underscore our dedication to making early childhood a priority in every sphere of society, thereby reinforcing FMCSV’s ongoing commitment to the integral development of children.
